Access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services is fundamental to individual rights and community wellbeing. Yet, according to the Guttmacher Institute (2023), over 200 million women in low- and middle-income countries still lack access to modern contraceptive methods, leading to unintended pregnancies and poor health outcomes. Our centre is dedicated to advancing reproductive health through evidence-based interventions that prioritize access, equity, and empowerment. We collaborate closely with health systems, policymakers, and communities to enhance the availability and quality of family planning services, reproductive education, and comprehensive care. Recognizing the critical role of reproductive health in achieving broader development goals, our work addresses systemic barriers including stigma, misinformation, and limited service delivery that hinder equitable access. We generate rigorous evidence to inform policy and programmatic decisions, ensuring that reproductive health services are inclusive, rights-based, and sustainable. In empowering individuals to make informed reproductive choices, our initiatives contribute to healthier families and resilient communities, aligned with global efforts to improve health outcomes across Sub-Saharan Africa and LMICs.
