Adolescents represent a crucial demographic for health interventions, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa where over 23% of the population is aged 10-19 (UNICEF, 2023). Yet, nearly 50% of adolescents lack access to adequate sexual and reproductive health services (WHO, 2024). Our centre advances youth-friendly, evidence-based health programs addressing mental health, nutrition, and protection against gender-based violence. Research shows that such interventions reduce early pregnancies by up to 30% and improve mental health outcomes significantly (Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health, 2022). We are working closely with local communities and health systems to empower young people to take charge of their health, contributing to stronger, healthier societies.
